Online Media: Redefining Terms of Journalism

In countries with limited or no democracy, news websites have emerged as one of the most effective and powerful media to influence public opinion and force those in power into action. Naturally, the journalists working for these news sites have become the prime targets of the governments in countries falling within this category.
